Why aren't there fixed "official" weights?

There's no unified formula across Saudi universities — each university, and sometimes each college within the same university, publishes entirely different weights for high school, Qudrat, and Tahsili (commonly ranging between 20% and 50% for each component), and these can change year to year. So this calculator doesn't assume one "official" weight: enter the weights specifically published by your university's admissions deanship, and the values shown here are just illustrative examples that are fully editable.

The math formula is fixed regardless of the university:
Weighted percentage = (high school% × its weight) + (Qudrat% × its weight) + (Tahsili% × its weight), provided the weights sum to 100%.

FAQ

My major doesn't require the Tahsili test, what should I do?
Uncheck the "Includes Tahsili" box, and the weights will automatically be distributed between high school and Qudrat only (make sure they sum to 100%).
Where do I find my university's actual weights?
They're usually published on the university's admissions deanship website, within the admission requirements and ratios for each major or college. Weights sometimes differ between colleges within the same university.
Does my weighted percentage guarantee admission?
No, your percentage is compared against a different minimum cutoff for each major and university (the minimum admission threshold), a number that changes every year based on applicant numbers and can't be predicted in advance.
