Why is commission deducted twice?
Many simple profit calculators miss this point: commission is paid on both sides of the trade — at purchase and again at sale, not just once. This means the real cost of trading is higher than many expect, especially for short-term trades.
Tax (if any) applies only to positive profit after commission is deducted — losses are never taxed.
FAQ
What is the "break-even price" and why does it matter?
It's the price that makes your net profit exactly zero (covering only commission). Knowing it shows you exactly how much price movement is needed just to avoid a loss, apart from any actual profit.
Does the calculator include capital gains tax?
The field is flexible and accepts any tax rate you enter, but the Saudi market currently doesn't impose a capital gains tax on stock trading for resident individuals — check your own tax status if you're a foreign investor or institution.
