How is the result calculated?

Total days is the direct millisecond difference between the two dates divided by the length of one day, with one day added if you enable the "count both days together" option.
When to use "inclusive"? Enable it when calculating the duration of a leave or contract that has a start and end date and you want to include the start day in the count. Leave it off to calculate just the number of days between them, like a countdown to an upcoming date.
